I’ve been on the other side of the world for over a week now but wanted to make sure you all knew about a solo show I’m having in Melbourne which is opening on Tuesday night. It’s at a lovely gallery called Lamington Drive in the Fitzroy section of Melbourne. I’ll be selling individual prints of the drop caps (some not yet available for purchase in my store), and all with a fancy bonus especially made for the gallery show—a little blind letterpressed logo in the corner.

The show will also feature giclee prints of the first three alphabets, the letterpress print of the first alphabet as well as well as several other prints. Come! Hang out! Buy a print without having to wait 4 weeks for it to be delivered to you! (effing customs). See you there hopefully!

Love it! Congrats times a million on the show and don’t forget to enjoy Melbourne! I never made down during my brief stint in the land of Oz, but I’ve only heard great things.
Rock on!

Oh I’m so bummed you’re having a show in Melbourne and I can’t make it down there from Canberra. Hope you have an amazingly successful show and make heaps of wonderful contacts and opportunities! So glad Australia can host a talent of your genius-ness!

Heya,
I saw you speak in Sydney today for the Semi Permanent convention… most influential thing I’ve seen/heard in a long time.
I’m just starting out at University this year studying Design and it’s really comforting to see success stories like yours. You seem fun, creative, down to earth, talented, approachable and hard-working… GUSH much!!!
Lemme wrap this up! – Thanks heaps for a great talk!
From what I’ve heard – the land of Oz adores you!

Hello!
I was also at Semi-Permanent and found yours the most inspiring talk of the event. I’d been checking out your work via your website and Daily Drop Cap for quite a while (love the letter C with the leaves and birds) and was really excited to hear you speak in Sydney. Wish you were having an exhibition in Sydney too… lucky Melbourne!
Thanks for being so totally inspiring yesterday!!

Congratulations on the show in Melbourne. I received the vine alphabet poster and “J” I purchased from your site and I hope they make the gallery viewers swoon as much as I did. The giclee and letterpress pieces were of the highest quality. Thank you so much for the inspiring FAQ page on your site (I know that sounds weird), but it made me feel like typography is thriving again and that graphic design in the medium of print, was a good major. It reignited my passion for designing. I graduate this spring and I can’t wait to get out into the world.

I sadly missed out on the opening night of your exhibition you recently had here in Melbourne but made up for it by purchasing a ‘B’, ‘L’ and the ‘1st edition alphabet series’. I purchased them before I had a chance to get to your exhibition as there was only one ‘B’ left so quick decisions had to be made over the phone! When I finally got to the gallery to pick them up I was so happy with how they looked. Just beautiful.
Hope you enjoyed your Australia trip.
Louise.
