re: tattoos: I drew the type one on my arm, the one on my back is this drawing, I have a woodtype ornament on my wrist and a CMYK ven diagram on my forearm (my boyfriend has RGB since he’s a web dude)
“Midwestern housewives with kids that are learning the alphabet.” Interesting. Is this meant to be an example of the most unsophisticated and uncultured set?
It’s always inspiring to see an exercise grow and flourish in the way that Drop Caps has. Congratulations and rock on!

re: midwestern housewives. definitely didn’t intend it that way, just a named a demographic of people that don’t sit around reading design blogs all day
I agree with @Lisa about that statement that it’s the death of unnecessary print, very well said! There is nothing like holding a book or piece of paper in your hands. Digital will never be able to replace that feeling.

I’m interested in your tattoos and if you designed any of them. I want to see what a designer chooses to put on her body. Is that weird?

Dear Jessica,
Will you be my graphic design girlfriend?
Or at least my date to the graphic design prom?

very eloquently put about it not being the death of print but the death of unnecessary print

Interesting point about people being starved for the tactile… And print being considered “fresh” as opposed to digital stuff. Makes sense to me.
