Village Voice Siren Fest

Client: The Village Voice // Art Direction: John Dixon // This was SUCH a fun project! John was very fun to work for and left the assignment incredibly open ended. I wanted to do something that related to the Coney Island location without being hit-you-over-the-head carnival type. I chose the cloud background because the event is outdoors and in the summer and also to make it feel more modern and fresh. All type is lettered, aside from the script which is a lightly manipulated Nelly Script Flourish.
